I visit Acapulco yearly for about two weeks, and I eat at this establishment the first night we arrive, and then at least twice more before we leave. The owner and the staff are wonderful, and as stated before, they treat you like family. My husband and I love the snapper with shrimp and spinich. It just melts in your... more

Hotel Casa Inn Acapulco

This by far is the worst hotel I've every stayed in. The bed was so hard that sleeping on the cold hard floor would have been just as comfortable. Grant it, I like my beds a little on the firmer side, but this was ridiculous. Thank goodness that we were only there for 1 day. Also, the fridge and stove... more

This property is really beautiful - the views are stunning. The staff is very pleasant and service is excellent. The renovation retained the mid-century glamour while improving the interiors of the casitas to 21st century standards. The La Concha beach club is wonderful. The food was mixed in terms of quality - and overall can be discribed as not very... more

We have just returned from spending 2 weeks at the Crowne Plaza. all inclusive The Hotel focuses on Conferences not the holiday makers. No comfortable seating area in the lobby. As we arrived and checked in all was going ok until we went to our room and as we walked in, there was a Family from Spain already in and in... more

Just returned from a long weekend at the Crowne Plaza Acapulco. The hotel is right on the beach towards the far end of town. Check in was very slow and not overly professional. The lobby was dirty and bare and the whole hotel had a worn out feeling. We had an ocean view room which was quite large with two... more

We have been going to Toruga for years. Always greeted like we are family. The owner, Chava and his waiters Gustavo and Ruffino are wonderful hosts. The food is great, but the margaritas are better. The coconut ice cream topped with kaluha is fantastic. Can't say enough good about this place. more

My girlfriends and I stayed at the Grand Mayan Acapulco in late October. I guess we lucked out and got an ocean view room because it was the off-season, but our room was beautiful and well appointed. The beach, pool and whole property was very stunning and we had a lovely time at the hotel. I also found the staff... more

My wife and I just returned from staying at the Las Brisas and let me let everyone know that we absolutely loved the Las Brisas. We booked a Beach Club room and we were provided room 456 that had a fantastic view of the bay and a beautiful private pool adorned with flower petals every day. The view was fantastic,... more

Parador Del Sol Acapulco

The rooms were clean but beat. Shower water was ALWAYS cold, not luke warm, COLD. The reason given was that the water was heated by solar. That's their theory. The grounds are not maintained very well. The beach looks nice but you can't swim in it because of the (under) current. The employees were nice. The waiters and restaurant manager... more

Mayan Sea Garden Acapulco

Nov 12, 2008

We read lots of the reviews of the Sea Garden before going. The rooms are average with not overly brilliant views but the cleaning service is very thorough. The hotel is a long way from Acapulco and it is an effort to get into the centre for a wider choice of restaurants and bars. If you are without a car... more

We spent two weeks at the Grand Mayan and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very clean and the daily service was excellent. The pools were cleaned daily and were a lot of fun. They have an excellent children's pool area. We ate several meals at the resort and were pleased with the quality. We took several tours of... more

We stayed at the Park Royal from 10/25 to 11/1. I must say that I was not expecting much from the Park Royal but I have to say that I was extremely surprised by the hotel. We stayed in a two bedroom suite which was terrific. Plenty of room and a great view. The staff was most accomadating and you... more

We stayed at the Grand Mayan from 11/1 to 11/8 and it is truly a mega-resort. The grounds are outstanding and of course the pool is tremendous. We found all staff to be very friendly and accomodating. It seems that the motto of the resort is CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN every where you look you will find people cleaning from floor... more

Roberto Alarcon is the real deal! All of the reviews here do not even do him justice, he is the best. Roberto owns and runs a tour guide and transportation service in Acapulco. He is always on time, flexible, and speaks excellent English. He also has the best local restaurant recommendations - Su Casa, Linda Vista, and El Oviedo. Roberto... more

Great place. No real access to a "usable" beach but it the pool was GREAT. I couldn't wait to go back. The poolside entertainment was great (Javier) and got us up singing and dancing. We had a group of about 8 couples and everybody loved it. more

Acapulco

Nov 8, 2008

Acapulco.......... simply beautiful. Accommodations, restaurants............ fantastic. Tourism the main source of economic income. The worse was the horrible experience was the LOCAL POLICE. Be aware of the old white “Tourisimo” cars. They are not real police but “parking maids” to issue car parking violations. Acapulco city even issued a new law that the “Tourisimo” are NOT allowed to issue tickets... more
