The beaches here were the most gorgeous I've seen on the island. The wide stretches of sand made for great beach fun. the snorkeling was pretty good, but further out. more
Cinnamon Bay is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, and the added amenities of bathrooms, showers, small grocery store and restaurant is a great added value. Also, the beautiful estate ruins are right across the street, and then right behind the ruins is a nice, easy trail that takes less than an hour and has little signs... more
Cinnamon Bay offers a fairly sizeable sandy beach, the trademarks clear, crystalline aqua waters, and Saint John's trademark fine snorkeling. With more options in terms of concessions and facilities than the vast majority of St. John beaches, Cinnamon Bay offers a lot of options (equipment and gear rental, wind surfing area) over and above the excellent snoreling. Looking for an idyllic beach in the USVI? Hard to beat the west end of Cinnamon Bay/Little Cinnamon. You can get there easily by boat if you're not renting one of the ridiculously posh villas in the Peter Bay section. You can also walk over from Cinnamon Bay easily enough. Crystal clear water, pure white sand and hardly a soul... more

He took a good 20 minutes with them and though my kids have... more

However, they only put sheets on the bed (no blankets), I'd recommend coming prepared with your own towels, and blankets/ sleeping bags, as desired. They supplied some... more
When I fly for 5 to 6 hours to get away from it all I picture myself at a place like Cinnamon Bay. I was so happy I started out my day on St. John at Cinnamon Bay. It is the nicest beach I have ever been to. It has the softest sand I have ever felt. It's very, very... more
Breathtaking view when you emerge from the walkway to the beach! There is a shack to rent snorkel gear there plus another separate shack that rents boogie boards, floating mats, surf boards, etc. It was very calm when we were there. There is an island to swim around and the best snorkeling is near it. The island is surrounded by... more
