I stayed at the Sutton Place hotel in downton Vancover between Boxing Day and New Years. Everything was outstanding and first class. The attention to detail in everything from the turndown service each night with chocolates to the doorman's attentiveness in obtaining a cab for my 4am departure! I would highly recommend this hotel. I love Sutton Place. The service is excellent. The location is fantastic. I adore the ambiance and atmosphere. It's a classy hotel. However, the room was a little shabby. This hotel can fool you when you first step out of the cab! You think it is grand and luxurious but it really isn't. They try to pull it off with the all the bells and whistles that they offer but when you get down to the nitty gritty you are better to stay somewhere else - like the Best... more

I stayed with my mom in this hotel from Nov. 11 - 16. Booked thru hotel's own website and got a package including: lodging, daily breakfast and parking. What a wonderful experience! Staff in the hotel is always polite and eager to help. Especially Heather at the Concigere. I got upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment at no extra cost.... more

Stayed the second time at the Sutton. Love the place! Bar is excellent. All staff extremely curteous. Just outside the hotel is a great coffee and croissant place for a quick breakfast.
