Great location overlooking Holy Isle and good base for visiting other parts of the Island.The hotel itself was clean and comfortable but is in need of some renovation which is going to be done in next month or two.The staff were very pleasant,breakfasts were good,menu for evening meals bit limited.Nearby Pierhead Tavern highly recommended for eating out. more

A lovely, old-fashioned hotel in an ideal location, my time at the Glenisle was incredibly relaxing. Being situated right on the seafront the views from the front are gorgeous. The new managers are extremely friendly (as are all the staff), and the restaurant offers a varied selection of great food. I will definitely stay here again! more

Room had a fabulous view over to Holy Isle. New owners very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. On the downside, dinner was very disappointing - in spite of the rave reviews by other trip advisors. Would defnitely recommend the hotel if not the food. more

A lovely hotel in a fantastic location. Spotlessly clean. Gorgeous views. Has its own garden. It is also the best bar and restaurant in Lamlash, which is an added bonus when staying in the hotel. Do not be put off by the reception to this B &B which still needs to be done up. We stayed in a beautiful room, spotlessly clean with T.V. hairdryer, tea and coffee etc: and an excellent en-suite. We stayed at the glenisle for two nights and were very disappointed. It was reminiscent of a run down nursing home. Very shabby, not what we expected of a hotel at all.
